Bilyaminu Shehu Maigunya is an experienced Computer Scientist with over 12 years of expertise in financial technology, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and ICT infrastructure management. He currently serves as the Project Manager for Digital Transformation and Technical Adviser to the Board at Kebbi State Home Savings and Loans Ltd, leading the bank’s transition into a fully digital mortgage service provider.

He also works with the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) as a Senior Program Analyst, contributing to national data systems and major surveys that inform policy and economic planning.

His specialties include:

Cybersecurity & regulatory compliance

Data center & cloud infrastructure

ICT governance, risk & disaster recovery

Enterprise software integration & analytics

He is also a liaison of the Office of Special Assistant to the Honorable Minister, Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning being the supervising ministry of NBS, which collaborates with national and global institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, ILO, UNICEF, and AfDB, ensuring alignment with international standards. He holds degrees in Computer Science and is pursuing an MBA in Procurement Management. A Certified E-Business Expert and Microsoft Power BI Visualizer, his research interests include AI-based sentiment analysis for financial decision-making.
