Muhammad Dahiru Ambursa is a seasoned administrator and public servant with extensive experience in local government administration and public finance management. He currently serves as the Chairman of Birnin Kebbi Local Government and the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kebbi State Chapter.

Prior to his election as Chairman of Birnin Kebbi Local Government, Mr. Ambursa held several strategic roles in the public sector. He served as Director of Finance and Supply in various local government councils across Kebbi State and was the Sole Administrator of the Ambursa/Kardi Development Area. In 2018, he was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kebbi State, a position he held until 2019. Mr. Ambursa holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration and a Higher Diploma in Local Government Studies from Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi. He also earned a Higher National Diploma in Management Studies from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.

As a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Kebbi State Home Savings and Loans Limited, Mr. Ambursa brings a wealth of experience in governance, public finance, and strategic leadership to support the bank’s mission and oversight responsibilities.
