Mr. Iliyasu Ibrahim Adamu is a seasoned legal practitioner with a strong background in litigation, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 21st of October, 2015. He also holds a Master’s degree in Law and Criminal Justice (MLCJ).

Mr. Adamu brings to the Bank extensive professional experience spanning Criminal and Civil Litigation, Shari’a Law Practice, Corporate Governance, Tenancy and Property Law, and Contract Negotiation. His legal expertise is complemented by years of academic engagement as a lecturer in higher institutions, where he contributed to the training of future legal professionals.

As Company Secretary, he is responsible for ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, advising the Board on corporate governance matters, and supporting effective communication between the Board and management.
